Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish actor and model from 11 November 1996. Her debut in a feature film was in a minor part on The James Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Later, she portrayed Nazi-sympathising Archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan Donovan was Charlotte in Taffin in 1988, and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Doody was a model when her being approached by an aspiring photographer. Her career has since evolved into commercial modelling. Doody did not shy away from glamour or nude work a clause which she extended to her acting career. She accepted a small part as Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill following the fact that she was spotted by the director who cast her. She played opposite Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) before she took perhaps her most well-known role ever as Austrian Nazi-sympathiser and archaeologist the Dr. Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as a co-star with Harrison Ford. Doody is a part of the James Bond family, having been in the film with Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in 1989's Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. Doody played co-starring in 1991 with Jonathan Pryce opposite the British miniseries Selling Hitler, which was in the spirit of a publication scam named The Hitler Diaries. In Hollywood Doody moved to. She was Flannery Charlie Sheen's agent and girlfriend in Major League II. She was chosen to be an alternative to Cybill Shepherd who had been L'Oreal's spokesperson. Doody was part of the 2004 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine was her character in a celebration to receive an award. She starred along together with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film adaptation of King Solomon's Mines. Doody filmed a role in the film of Danny Dyer, The Rapture. Later, she appeared as a guest in RTE's medical drama The Clinic and was set to star in a 2011 remake of horror classic The Asphyx but the project later stalled. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. In 2014, she appeared on We Still Kill the Old Way (2014). She was given the Almeria Tierra de Cinema award on November 21, 2018.
